UNCASVILLE, Conn., Aug. 7, 2024 ~ Mohegan, a renowned developer of integrated entertainment resorts worldwide, has announced the appointment of Joseph J. Hasson as their new Chief Operating Officer (COO). This decision is subject to all regulatory approvals and comes after Hasson's successful stint as the interim COO since April of this year.
With over 40 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality industries, Hasson brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. As COO, he will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of short and long-term strategic business plans across all Mohegan properties. This includes resorts in the United States, Canada, and Northern Asia.
Ray Pineault, President and CEO of Mohegan, expressed his confidence in Hasson's leadership abilities. "Joe's exemplary leadership at our Las Vegas property and his extensive experience make him the perfect fit for this role," he said. "We are certain that his contributions as our COO will play a crucial role in our continued success."

In addition to his responsibilities as COO, Hasson will also continue to serve as General Manager of Mohegan Casino at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas during its ownership transition. He will report directly to Pineault in his new position.
As COO, Hasson's main focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction while upholding Mohegan's high service standards. He will work closely with the company's leadership team to align all strategic processes with overall company goals, with an emphasis on sustainable growth for Mohegan's portfolio of entertainment resorts.
Prior to joining Mohegan, Hasson held the position of COO at Station Casinos LLC and Red Rock Resorts, Inc. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from Rider University in New Jersey.
