MESA, Ariz., April 7, 2025 ~ Aquimo Inc. and GameLoop have joined forces to revolutionize the way fans engage with live sports broadcasts and events. The two companies have announced a strategic partnership that will bring Aquimo's Tilt Games to GameLoop's 24/7 "Watch and Play" gaming channel on NEXTGEN TV.
Tilt Games, a new category of interactive games, are powered by Aquimo's proprietary multiplayer mobile gaming platform. This partnership marks the first time that these innovative games will be available on live television, providing GameLoop fans with a brand-new interactive gaming experience.
The first game to launch as part of this partnership is "3 Point Challenge," a fast-paced basketball-themed game developed specifically for GameLoop by Aquimo. It will debut on April 7 in 37 NEXTGEN TV markets, with plans for expansion to additional markets in the near future. Attendees at the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show can also demo the game at the ATSC Pavilion until April 9.
This groundbreaking partnership combines Aquimo's patent-protected mobile gaming technology with GameLoop's interactive "Watch and Play" broadcast format. Viewers simply tune into GameLoop, follow on-screen prompts from live hosts, and scan a QR code with their phone to instantly join the game – no app download, subscription, or extra hardware required. Using their phones, fans can tilt their wrist to shoot virtual hoops, compete against other players nationwide, enter weekly tournaments, win prizes and more – all while watching the action unfold on their TV screen.

Chip Clofine, Chief Product Officer of GameLoop, expressed excitement about this collaboration: "Our mission at GameLoop is to unlock the true potential of smart TVs for gaming, and our partnership with Aquimo takes that to a whole new level. With 'Aquimo Tilt Games,' viewers have a whole new way of controlling gameplay that is fast, intuitive and engaging - all using Aquimo's sophisticated motion tracking capabilities in viewers' existing mobile devices. That's a game changer for the player experience."
In addition to providing an immersive gaming experience, Tilt Games also offer a valuable opportunity for brands to engage with viewers. With average session times exceeding 25 minutes, Aquimo's platform delivers up to 20-30 seconds of ad impressions per user session across mobile – significantly more exposure than a typical 30-second TV spot. This presents a unique opportunity for advertisers to drive deeper engagement and measurable ROI through sponsor-driven features such as digital coupons, real-time rewards, branded challenges, and in-game integrations.

Mark Jeffery, founder and CEO of Aquimo, explained the vision behind Tilt Games: "Tilt Games were designed to make fan participation instant, intuitive, and impactful. With GameLoop, we're scaling that experience to living rooms nationwide – giving viewers more ways to play, partners more ways to engage, and broadcasters a new way to capture attention in a crowded content landscape."
All Tilt Games on GameLoop TV are free to play and supported by ads. More games from Aquimo – including additional sports, trivia, and casual game formats – are currently in development and expected to roll out later this year.
