To become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Las Vegas Nevada
LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- Community Outreach Medical Center (COMC) is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, healthcare services through an integrated care model. By combining physical and behavioral health services, our mission is to improve the well-being of individuals within the greater Southern Nevada region. This mission will be accomplished by becoming a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC).
On February 15, 2021 COMC was awarded a CCBHC Expansion Grant through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). As the process of building the CCBHC program is ongoing, preparations for the Nevada State Certification Review are also underway. As it has always been a part of COMC's mission to connect with the community, the CCBHC will expand our opportunities to partner with local organizations and provide external services and referrals. COMC will officially start providing services under the CCBHC program to patients on June 15, 2021.
