~ At the 2023 EDS Leadership Summit, held in Las Vegas from May 16-19, DigiKey was awarded 17 recognitions from its supplier partners. The awards were given in recognition of DigiKey's sales results, breadth of product and more during the past year.
Mike Slater, vice president of global business development at DigiKey, said: "We are honored to have earned recognition from so many of our valued supplier partners in admiration of our shared success. We are proud of our collaborations with suppliers to move engineers and designers forward towards next-generation solutions, growth and operational efficiency."
The awards included Distributor of the Year from NMB, Advanced Thermal Solutions, ECS, CIT Relay, Metz Connect, Wakefield Thermal and Eaton Electronics; Platinum Award from Orion Fans; Best Product Breadth from Sunon; #1 Distributor for 2022 from Phoenix Mecano; Modification Success Award from Bud Industries; Partnership Appreciation Award from Yageo; Top Sales Partner Award from Diotec; Excellence in Distribution Award from NorComp; Americas Sales Growth Award from Molex; Catalog Passive Distributor of the Year from Vishay; and Highest Growth Dollars from Cornell Dubilier.

DigiKey also hosted its 10th annual EDS Business Update Breakfast on Thursday May 18th which featured the debut of their updated logo and brand system along with market activity and business updates. The presentation also covered industry trends, DigiKey's performance in 2022 and strategic vision as well as a toast to their 50th anniversary. Entertainment was provided by Keelan Leyser, a technology magician.
