Zelivia + Co Helps Fight COVID-19 Pandemic With a Needle and Thread
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - nvtip -- Zelivia + Co https://www.zelivia.com was born out of the desire to help others. Parisian designer Elise Granjot, now living in Miami Beach, created her fashion line with the best intentions. "I'm neither an heiress nor a millionaire, but I am a passionate designer with 20 years in the lingerie and loungewear business working with French companies such as Huit 8 France and Princesse Tam-Tam. I'm knowledgeable about what women want and need…comfort, style, and lasting wearability."
Granjot wanted to create clothing in flattering styles using soft, natural fabrics that stretch allowing women to feel beautiful and comfortable by creating basics that can be worn day to night with style and flair. Always having a desire to support her local community, the fashions are made in the USA with sustainably sourced fabrics.

To help mothers dress their kids ethically with clothes that can last a long time and grow with them, Granjot designed garments that can be passed to siblings without gender stereotypes. Inspired by her own daughter, Granjot has designed some adaptive clothing with magnets that are easy to wear for those with disabilities or have problems with buttons. Since kids like to mimic their mom's style, she designed matching garments in sizes ranging from kids to adults. Her LOVE Collection with a handmade LOVE applique expresses caring, joy and shouts out her love for family and the world.
With the growth of the COVID-19 crisis, Granjot quickly pivoted her output and started making masks. She did not hesitate to use her natural fabrics in solids and signature zig-zag print to start cutting and sewing masks. After putting them on the Zelivia + CO website and Etsy, the number of requests for masks became so numerous, she enlisted the help of local seamstresses who were out of work due to COVID-19. Being able to employ others was a blessing. Overflowing with kindness and gratitude, she has given masks to the homeless population in Miami.

Granjot stated, "By making masks, I'm happy to use my expertise as a designer to help people become more protected. I'm happy that I can give work to talented people who have made sewing their livelihood. Miami Beach is suffering like the rest of the country and the world. I have empathy for all those who have lost love ones. As a fashion designer, this is my small contribution to help make us stronger together."
Because she believes that #StrongerTogether can make a difference, Granjot is offering 20% off of the entire Zelivia + Co Collection and is also donating to food banks.
