BOCA RATON, Fla. - nvtip -- Music Director Timothy Brumfield continues to bring world-class performances to Boca Raton as he leads the Great Music at St. Gregory's sixth concert series with works by musical icons Wycliffe Gordon, Mike Rossi, Seraphic Fire, and Opera Fusion, among others.
The stage is set for the 2019/2020 concert series to be Brumfield's best season yet with an all-star lineup of performers. All nine uplifting performances will be held at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church of Boca Raton at 100 NE Mizner Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL 33432 and are open to the public.
Florida Grammy-Nominated Vocal Ensemble Seraphic Fire returns for five unprecedented concerts and kicks off the season on November 7, 2019 with Hildegard of Bingen: Ordo Virtutum (Play of Virtues) with Patrick Dupre-Quigley as conductor.
"Great Music of Saint Gregory's exists to provide our community and South Florida an opportunity to experience some of the world's finest performing artists," notes Tim Brumfield, Director of Music Ministry. "This season, we've developed a collection of amazing and diverse vocal and musical talent that is unprecedented. From classical to opera, jazz, Broadway, and our exciting new inter-faith concert for peace, there is truly something for everyone."
