Health Insurance Companies Waive Co-Pays for COVID-19 Testing
Approximately 240 million Americans have health insurance through private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Health insurance companies also agreed to cover the cost of telemedicine which allows patients to speak with a doctor over the phone. Coverage will be extended for the treatment of COVID-19, but beyond testing (like hospitalization) your deductible and co-insurance will most likely still apply.
