LAS VEGAS, Nov. 6, 2024 ~ Las Vegas, NV - Heavy Equipment Management Company LLC (HEMCO) has announced the appointment of Matthew Bunin as their new Chief Financial Officer, effective October 21. With over 20 years of experience in financial leadership and executive roles, Matthew will be responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting operations of HEMCO and its supported operating companies, including Gee Heavy Machinery LLC.
Matthew brings a strong background in financial strategy and executive management to his new role at HEMCO. He has previously held senior financial positions in various industries such as automotive service, large equipment distribution, and retail/office development. His extensive expertise in strategic financial planning, reporting, and fiscal accountability makes him a valuable addition to HEMCO as the company continues to grow.

Matthew is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Akron. Prior to joining HEMCO, he served as a Senior Financial Executive for a group of high-growth companies in the car wash industry where he demonstrated strong leadership skills and contributed significantly to organizational expansion. In addition to his professional achievements, Matthew is also actively involved in the Las Vegas community. He currently serves as Board President of the Southern Nevada chapter of Financial Executives International and as an Honorary Commander for the 57th Operational Support Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base.
In his new role as CFO, Matthew will oversee HEMCO's financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and drive value for both the company and its clients.
