LAKE ORION, Mich., May 21, 2024 ~ Lightware, a leading AV manufacturer, is set to showcase its latest developments in USB and USB-C signal management at this year's Infocomm event in Las Vegas from June 12-14. The company continues to deliver innovative solutions for the corporate, education, and live event sectors.
Attendees at Infocomm 2024 can visit Lightware's booth (C8056) to witness the newest technologies in action, including the latest versions of their popular Taurus product family. With a history of pioneering advancements in USB technology, Lightware is once again raising the bar with their latest addition - the Taurus TPN. This new product expands USB capabilities into network environments and will be on display at the event.
In addition to the Taurus TPN, Lightware will also showcase their new Taurus UCX Dual Screen feature and other innovative connectivity solutions. The Taurus UCX-TPN and HDMI-TPN devices, which utilize SDVoE technology, form the core of Lightware's groundbreaking UC-over-IP solution for medium to large conference rooms. This solution allows meeting participants to easily connect their USB-C laptops as hosts and take control of their room's USB assets.

The Taurus TPN offers seamless management of HDMI 2.0 signals with support for up to 4K60 4:4:4 video resolution. It also provides full bandwidth USB 2.0 for high-quality data transmission across 10G Ethernet networks.
Another highlight at Infocomm will be Lightware's revolutionary Taurus UCX-4x3-HCM40 - Dual Screen UCX. This is the world's first ProAV solution that enables multiscreen extended desktop via a single USB-C cable. It supports 100W charging, a 1GbE USB3 network card compatible with various operating systems, and the ability to share external USB3/USB2 devices. The UCX-4x3-HCM40 also effortlessly supports two independent 4K60 displays, making it adaptable to different setups.
Lightware will also be showcasing their new 1G AV over IP solution, Gemini GVN, which can transmit 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 image quality with USB device routing and fast-scaling, seamless host switching. Additionally, the company will display the latest edition of their rental and staging solution, UBEX, which enables uncompressed 4K UHD@60Hz 4:4:4 signal extension with latency-free multistreaming over dual 10G Ethernet networks.
Infocomm attendees can also explore Lightware's wider solutions portfolio, including extended desktop and conference room configurations, Taurus TPX/Cisco interfacing, Dante USB Audio Bridge and voice tracking solutions. The company's BYOM technologies for medium-sized rooms and auditoriums will also be on display. Lightware will showcase their solutions in Microsoft Teams Rooms environments as well to provide seamless hybrid meeting experiences.
