MINNEAPOLIS and LAS VEGAS, July 30, 2024 ~ NetSPI, a leading proactive security solution provider, is set to make a strong presence at two major cybersecurity conferences this year. The company will be participating in various speaking sessions and events at Black Hat USA 2024 and DEF CON 32, both taking place at the Mandalay Bay Expo Hall in Las Vegas from August 3 to 13.
This comes on the heels of NetSPI's recent acquisition of Hubble Technology, a cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) provider, in June 2024. The integration of CAASM into NetSPI's platform will provide security teams with complete visibility of rapidly evolving attack surfaces and help them prioritize vulnerabilities across their entire IT estate.
Attendees can visit NetSPI's booth #2750 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center to learn more about their proactive security solutions such as Penetration Testing as a Service (PTaaS), External Attack Surface Management (EASM), Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM), and Breach and Attack Simulation (BAS). They can also book an on-site meeting with NetSPI through their website.
In addition to their booth presence, NetSPI will also be hosting five speaking sessions at Black Hat, DEF CON, and BSides Las Vegas – the most they have had since their inception. These talks will cover a range of topics including improving continuous threat and exposure management by pairing EASM with CAASM, affordable light-based hardware security tooling, a new framework for Google Cloud Platform pentesting, securing mainframe computers, and exploiting Managed Identities in Azure services.

NetSPI's Principal Security Consultant Tib3rius and Director of Mainframe Pentesting Phil Young will also be hosting contests during DEF CON. These include a team-based quiz show focused on man pages and software documentation called "Aw, man.pages!", a cybersecurity-themed Family Feud game called "Feet Feud", and a telecom-based CTF hosted on live VoIP lines called "PhreakMe".
Attendees can also join NetSPI for a poolside happy hour at Mandalay Bay's Daylight Beach Club on Thursday, August 8, for food, drinks, and networking.
NetSPI's Chief Product Officer Vinay Anand and Chief Technical Officer Tom Parker expressed their excitement about the upcoming events, stating that they are looking forward to showcasing their platform and discussing proactive security needs with attendees. They also mentioned that this year's lineup of speaking sessions and contests is the largest they have had so far, highlighting their commitment to providing valuable insights and solutions to the cybersecurity community.
With NetSPI's strong presence at Black Hat USA 2024 and DEF CON 32, attendees can expect to gain valuable knowledge and insights into proactive security solutions and the latest trends in cybersecurity. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn from industry experts and network with like-minded professionals.
