NIKKO, Japan - nvtip -- Tobu Railway Group announces the opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko on May 22, 2020.  Located in Nikko, Japan, just two hours north of Tokyo's Asakusa Station, along the Tobu Railway Line, the hotel will be situated along magnificent Lake Chuzenji, Japan's highest altitude lake, with spectacular lake-front views. It will be the first Ritz-Carlton to feature luxuriating hot spring baths, invigorating guests with Japan's ultimate relaxation hospitality.

The hotel is designed as luxury residence blending with the natural environs. The Lobby Lounge, which is well lit with natural light is designed with warm wooden features and a nod to the history of Nikko.
