Peachtree Immediate Care, which is partnered and co-branded with the Emory Healthcare Network, also opened or acquired new locations in Columbus, Cumming, Dunwoody, Loganville, and Monroe earlier this year. The new location in Sharpsburg is located near Costco at the intersection of Highway GA-54 and the Col. Joe M Jackson Highway.

The site is open from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, 7-days-a-week, and will offer urgent care, COVID-19 evaluation and testing, occupational health, and limited primary care. The center shares a common electronic medical record system with the other 40+ Peachtree Immediate Care centers and is electronically integrated with Emory's healthcare record system. For convenience and safety, the center has online check-in and digital registration capabilities as well as an on-site lab and a digital x-ray suite to better serve our patients.

Urgent care services include treatment for injuries and illnesses that require attention but that are not life-threatening. Examples include COVID-19 testing, flu-like symptoms, strep throat, minor burns, pink eye, ear/skin infections, lacerations, STD testing and treatment, sprains, and other illnesses and injuries.  The centers allow a patient to be treated more quickly and at a much lower cost than an E.R. and to not have to wait a week or more to be seen by their primary care physician.  In addition to urgent care services, the clinic also offers occupational health services that include physicals (e.g., pre-employment, annual, & DOT), worker's compensation injury treatment, and drug testing, including eScreens.
