The company recently opened a 3,500 square foot medical center in Sharpsburg, GA
PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - nvtip -- Peachtree Immediate Care TM, the leading urgent care operator in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area and the state of Georgia, which is owned by Atlanta-based CRH Healthcare (CRH), added its forty-second location in Sharpsburg, Georgia earlier this week. Peachtree Immediate Care, which is partnered and co-branded with the Emory Healthcare Network, also opened or acquired new locations in Columbus, Cumming, Dunwoody, Loganville, and Monroe earlier this year. The new location in Sharpsburg is located near Costco at the intersection of Highway GA-54 and the Col. Joe M Jackson Highway.
The site is open from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, 7-days-a-week, and will offer urgent care, COVID-19 evaluation and testing, occupational health, and limited primary care. "We are excited to expand our network to serve patients in the areas south of Atlanta," said Bill Miller, CEO of CRH Healthcare. "Adding this center in Sharpsburg, along with our centers in LaGrange, Newnan, Fayetteville, Griffin, Locust Grove, and Morrow, will help us to better serve this community with convenient, quality, and patient-focused care. For Sharpsburg, it just made sense for us to build this center so that we could have a new, state-of-the-art facility located in the most convenient part of the city. The center will be staffed with board certified physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners along with support from the broader Peachtree Immediate Care network of centers and the Emory Healthcare Network."

The center shares a common electronic medical record system with the other 40+ Peachtree Immediate Care centers and is electronically integrated with Emory's healthcare record system. For convenience and safety, the center has online check-in and digital registration capabilities as well as an on-site lab and a digital x-ray suite to better serve our patients.
Urgent care services include treatment for injuries and illnesses that require attention but that are not life-threatening. Examples include COVID-19 testing, flu-like symptoms, strep throat, minor burns, pink eye, ear/skin infections, lacerations, STD testing and treatment, sprains, and other illnesses and injuries. The centers allow a patient to be treated more quickly and at a much lower cost than an E.R. and to not have to wait a week or more to be seen by their primary care physician. In addition to urgent care services, the clinic also offers occupational health services that include physicals (e.g., pre-employment, annual, & DOT), worker's compensation injury treatment, and drug testing, including eScreens.
