~ As RISE Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary, the world's largest sky lantern festival is proud to unveil its newest addition - The Horizon. This massive open-air stage is set to rival the most iconic performance spaces in the world and will make its debut on October 3 through 5, 2025 at the Jean Dry Lake Bed near Las Vegas.
Designed to transform the vast expanse of the Mojave Desert into a breathtaking concert environment, The Horizon is a blend of architectural vision and large-format production. It will host an incredible lineup of world-class talent, with RÜFÜS DU SOL, Calvin Harris, and John Mayer headlining each night of the three-day festival.
But The Horizon is not just about grandeur and scale. It also introduces a new chapter for RISE Festival, known for its iconic Sky Lantern Ceremony. This year, the festival expands its footprint and creative ambition by offering two unique and immersive stages in an outdoor celebration of art, music, and light.
The Horizon sets a new benchmark for festival stages with its impressive features. With 18 separate screens spanning over 200 feet wide and anchored by 12 stadium towers, it offers panoramic sound design paired with immersive video and lighting. This open desert setting can hold thousands of people while preserving the spiritual energy that defines RISE.

David Oehm, CEO of RISE Festival expressed his excitement about The Horizon's debut saying, "We have created something that doesn't just house performances - it amplifies them and elevates them. It's bold, breathtaking, and built for celebration."
While The Horizon takes RISE into a new era, The Compass remains at the heart of the festival experience. This open-air 360° stage has been home to the Sky Lantern Ceremony since its inception. Surrounded by thousands of torches and comfortable lounges for guests to gather in, The Compass provides a unique setting for the collective sky lantern release under the stars.
The sight of over 40,000 sky lanterns released into the moonlit sky each night is a moving experience for many RISE guests. It is a beautiful and heartfelt way to send messages to the heavens.
Together, The Compass and The Horizon offer two distinct stages that will create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for RISE guests. These stages set the tone for the next decade of RISE and showcase the festival's commitment to providing an unforgettable shared experience in the Mojave Desert south of Las Vegas.
