~ Las Vegas, NV - In a major announcement at the Synergy 2024 conference, TradePMR and Smartria have joined forces to integrate their platforms and provide TradePMR custodial data into Smartria's compliance software. This partnership aims to streamline the compliance process for registered investment advisors (RIAs) and enhance their overall digital experience.
TradePMR, a leading custodial services company for RIAs, celebrated its 25th year during the annual Synergy conference in May. Founded by former RIA Robb Baldwin, the company is dedicated to meeting the specific needs of RIAs through its technology, support, and services.
According to Scott Victoria, Chief Operations Officer at TradePMR, their focus is on enabling advisors to spend more time on building relationships and growing their business. He believes that partnering with technology providers like Smartria, whose mission is to make wealth advisors successful, aligns with their goal of making it easier for advisors to manage client data while staying compliant with regulations.

The integration between Smartria and TradePMR will allow joint customers to connect their accounts on both platforms. This means that employee, client, and account custody data from TradePMR will appear in Smartria's compliance software. Compliance teams can then use this data for employee trade monitoring as well as client account holdings for annual reviews and other key compliance activities.
Smartria CEO Patrick Hunt expressed his excitement about the partnership stating that both companies were purpose-built to cater to the specific requirements of RIAs. He also highlighted the overlap in their customer base and how integrating their platforms will benefit RIAs. Hunt believes that this collaboration will further enhance the digital experience for mutual customers.
In addition to the integration, Smartria and TradePMR have also agreed to support each other's marketing and business development initiatives. As an example of this collaboration, Smartria sponsored the Synergy 2024 conference, giving TradePMR advisors the opportunity to see their compliance platform in action. The companies are also planning additional opportunities to support each other in the future.
