LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that David L. Edelblute, an attorney in the firm's Las Vegas office, was recently selected to participate in the Henderson Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Henderson program. Edelblute is one of 33 local community leaders representing a wide variety of industries, including private, nonprofit, and public-sector institutions, in the intensive eight-month program.

Leadership Henderson is an eight-month course devoted to educating and empowering civic-minded professionals with a goal of building and maintaining a strong network of effective community leaders. Selection of participants is based upon demonstrated leadership experience, potential, and abilities. Through panel presentations by community leaders and experts, simulations and hands-on experiences, participants learn about current issues pertaining to local economy, government, social services, health, gaming, business, and education that effect the residents and businesses that call Henderson home.

Edelblute is an associate focusing on commercial litigation and government affairs. He represents a broad range of clients in business matters, provides his clients advice on local, state, and national legislation, and guides his clients through complex regulatory and administrative matters. He received his J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and his B.A. from Arizona State University.
