SAN DIEGO, Sept. 8, 2025 ~ Las Vegas, NV - At the RE+ 2025 conference, SOLV Energy made a major announcement regarding the expansion of its services in the solar, energy storage, and transmission and distribution (T&D) sectors. The company has acquired two leading companies in these fields - Spartan Infrastructure and SDI Services.

SOLV Energy's acquisition of Spartan Infrastructure, a high-voltage transmission contractor, was completed in June 2025. This acquisition will enhance SOLV's ability to self-perform complex T&D work and meet the growing demand for transmission infrastructure. In addition, Spartan has recently formed a 35kV overhead crew to support SOLV's solar capabilities, aligning with the industry-wide trend towards overhead AC collection systems for increased efficiency and scalability. With longstanding partnerships with utilities, Spartan also brings new customer segments and revenue opportunities for SOLV.

The second acquisition by SOLV Energy was that of SDI Services in January 2025. SDI is a national specialist in foundational drilling and pile installation for solar and T&D projects. These acquisitions will strengthen SOLV's capabilities to execute complex projects in diverse environments, drive technical innovation, and provide integrated solutions that create long-term value for their customers.
