Erik Dongil Makes Las Vegas Debut, Channeling His Inner Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Chuck Berry
LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- On Friday, July 12, 2024, Erik Dongil introduced Las Vegans to his own stellar brand of classic rock and roll, jazz and blues.
Dongil (pronounced "Dunhil"), 26, performed his inaugural Las Vegas show to a bedazzled audience at the Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel, which left the attendees buzzing.
"What a captivating and transformative show" audience member, Olga Barasoain, commented. "Erik's an amazing musician. I felt completely immersed in every number. I was bowled away when he performed 'Long Tall Sally' by Little Richard, and he was playing the piano with a foot up on the keys, the way they used to do it!".
Barasoain also found Dongil's harmonica skills sublime, as he added his own magic to "Mary Had A Little Lamb" by Buddy Guy.

Dongil, who was born and who lived in Spain for a few years, also lived in France, The Netherlands, Australia and the United States. Dongil is a 'newbie' to Las Vegas, having only lived here for three months. He is a multi-talented performer, incorporating his vocals, piano, guitar and harmonica into his R&B shows.
Dongil has been performing since he was 10 years old, so Dongil is no rookie to performing! He has traveled to various regions in the US, immersing himself in various genres, and has played at such iconic venues in Texas as Fitzgeralds, Arena Theater and Continental Club, as well as in Nashville and New Orleans. "I also have performed in Spain and Australia doing my Rock and Roll-themed performances", he adds.
One highlight of Dongil's performing career was when he opened for veteran singer, Johnny Rivers, who had hits with "Secret Agent Man", "Poor Side of Town" in the 1960s.

Exciting things are in store for Dongil. He is currently working on recording an album, expected out later this year, which Dongil explains, "It's really a bit of a mix between Rock, Blues and Jazz…It's going to have a lot of rhythm and will surely make you want to jive!" In 2025, Dongil is set to tour France, as well.
