Anna Gresty, Managing Director of TP Transcription Limited said she was delighted to hear the news. "This is a wonderful opportunity for our company to collaborate with the University of Salford team to invest in research and development around the use of AI in the transcription sector, specifically to look at academic transcription work, something usually overlooked by the current generalist transcription providers. As specialist academic transcribers, we are perfectly situated to be able to assist in the development and deployment of an AI-powered system for the benefit of universities around the world."
