The outreach portion of the campaign kicked off on Friday, May 8th, 2020 when the community engagement team at CACAF delivered warm authentic Caribbean meals to doctors and nurses at Emory University Hospital Midtown. Hollis Innovation Academy in Atlanta. They wanted to thank healthcare workers for their sacrifice and hard work.
Michael Thomas, Chairman of CACAF said, "We are committed to our culture, community and any opportunity to show the connection and that we care. This is the direction we want to go," he continued "Our frontline workers are our national heroes and we want them to know the Caribbean community has benefited from their diligence and courage.
