SYLMAR, Calif. - nvtip -- Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) is responding to COVID-19 by providing food and aid for children and families in need. CHF works through corporate relationships and a global network of churches, making it possible to meet people around the world at the point of their need.
This time of uncertainty about the coronavirus has resulted in immediate need here in the US and internationally. The poor are particularly vulnerable and will likely be impacted the hardest.
"We will come alongside the poor and resource them with food and other essential items that are needed urgently at this time," said CHF Founder and President, Dave Phillips. "These are unprecedented days. There is so much anxiety, so much unknown. We are choosing to respond in faith, not fear."
Children's Hunger Fund is currently accepting donations at our three distribution centers, located in Sylmar, CA; Dallas, TX; and San Antonio, TX.

Children's Hunger Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) charity and all donations are tax-deductible.
About Children's Hunger Fund
Founded by Dave Phillips in 1991, Children's Hunger Fund has served the needs of children through gospel-centered mercy ministry for more than twenty-six years. Since 1991, 96% of all donations have directly supported programs that serve suffering children and families. The charity has distribution centers in San Antonio, Dallas, and at its headquarters in Los Angeles. At each center, bulk food is packed by volunteers into "Food Paks" (a 20-pound box of nutritious food). Food Paks are distributed to millions of children and families in need throughout the U.S. and worldwide through a unique process, utilizing a Mercy Network of pastors and local churches who deliver the Food Paks into the homes of families in each region that is served.
