NOVI, Mich., Jan. 5, 2025 ~ At the CES Unveiled 2025 event, Danlaw, Inc. made a major announcement that has the potential to revolutionize the way electric vehicle (EV) owners charge their cars at home. The global leader in connected car technology and automotive electronics unveiled their latest product, the CleverCharge Level 2 home EV charging system.
CleverCharge is not just any ordinary EV charger. It is equipped with advanced features that are delivered through the patent-pending CleverKey, an OBD-II plug-in device. This device provides personalized experiences for EV owners, making it stand out from other home EV chargers in the market.
The CleverCharge by Danlaw has been recognized as a CES 2025 Innovation Awards Honoree in the Smart Home category. It is designed to cater to households with multiple EVs and offers features that are unmatched by its competitors.
One of its key features is an AI assistant that learns the daily driving routines of the user and provides proactive reminders to ensure that there is enough battery range for the day ahead. This eliminates range anxiety and gives users peace of mind knowing that their EV will be ready for their routine.

The mobile app dashboard also displays important information such as vehicle battery range in both miles and kilowatt-hours, remaining charging time, and battery health. This provides clarity on the vehicle's range and allows users to plan their charging schedule accordingly.
Scott Bolt, Chief Strategy Officer at Danlaw, stated that CleverCharge was designed not only to be easy to install and use but also to be powerful in terms of its capabilities. He added that it eliminates range anxiety and ensures that users' EVs are always ready for their daily routine.
The secret behind CleverCharge's powerful capabilities lies in its patent-pending device called CleverKey. This device unlocks vehicle data through the OBD-II port and uses it along with charging data to power AI-enhanced features such as plug-in reminders, scheduled charging, battery health, estimated charge time, and cost per charge for each EV in the home.
CleverCharge is compatible with all types of EVs, including Tesla models with an OBDII connector. It also offers two installation options – hardwired and NEMA 14-50. The hardwired version can charge at speeds of up to 46 mph while the NEMA 14-50 version can charge at speeds of up to 38 mph.
The product will be on display at CES 2025 in Las Vegas from January 7–10 at North Hall, Booth #8305. It will also be showcased at CES Unveiled on Sunday, Jan. 5 and at Pepcom on Monday, Jan. 6.
CleverCharge is set to be available in Spring 2025 and interested customers can reserve their charger by visiting www.clevercharge.com. With its intuitive AI-enabled guidance and complete home EV management system, CleverCharge by Danlaw is truly the only EV charger smart enough for you.
