LAS VEGAS, Sept. 30, 2024 ~ According to a recent press release, it has been reported that one in three people around the world are currently living with multiple chronic conditions. This staggering statistic affects a total of 2.7 billion individuals globally. However, the situation is even more severe in America, where an estimated 42% of citizens are impacted by these chronic illnesses.
The most common conditions include hypertension, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, kidney disease, and respiratory illnesses. These ailments not only have a physical impact on patients but also lead to depression and other behavioral health challenges.

Unfortunately, it has been found that 50% of treatment failures are due to non-adherence to care plans. This includes neglecting medication management, lifestyle changes, and vitals monitoring. What's even more concerning is that this non-adherence often occurs at home without any clinical oversight.
Until now, there has been no effective way to address this issue on a large scale. However, with this new information brought to light, it is hoped that steps will be taken to identify and tackle this problem for the betterment of those living with chronic conditions.
