LAS VEGAS, Sept. 6, 2024 ~ The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) has announced its fourth class of 20 Under 40 honorees, recognizing the outstanding achievements of up-and-coming nurses in the field. The announcement was made at the annual General Assembly, held prior to Emergency Nursing 2024 in Las Vegas this week.
The 20 Under 40 program aims to highlight emergency nursing professionals who have made exceptional contributions to their workplaces, communities, and the specialty as a whole. This year's class is a diverse group, consisting of humanitarians, published authors, and individuals who have been passionate about becoming emergency nurses since childhood.
According to ENA President Chris Dellinger, MBA, BSN, RN, FAEN, the accomplishments of these 20 nurses are truly inspiring. "They are shining examples of excellence in both their professional and personal lives," he said. "I am excited to see the impact that this group will continue to make in our specialty in the years to come."
The honorees were selected by a panel of reviewers comprised of ENA members and staff. They will be featured in a special issue of ENA Connection in October and were also recognized at Emergency Nursing 2024. In addition, each honoree will be highlighted on ENA's social media platforms.

Among this year's honorees are Elizabeth Brewer from Texas, Marvin Delfin from California, Emily Dorosz from Maryland, Christopher John Fernandez from Canada, Mary Frazier from Illinois, Krystal Garza from Texas, Karmen Goodner from Arkansas, Alexander Haines from Pennsylvania, Kat Hammond from Oregon, Steven Jacobson from California, Alexander Kasmere from South Carolina, Chase Lodico from Illinois,Amanda McIntyre from Canada , Andrea Moore from Colorado , Paige Potter from Utah , Tushara Rhodesfrom South Carolina , Jamla Rizekfrom New York , Monica Smithfrom Michigan , Rebekkah Stanko from Pennsylvania, and Jordan Tyczka from Virginia.
Each of these honorees has made significant contributions to the field of emergency nursing and has been recognized for their dedication and hard work. They represent the future of the specialty and are sure to continue making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
