Nevada Has Chosen to Expand Medicaid

If your income is under 138% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) and you are under age 65 you may qualify for Medicaid.  Now adults with or without children, women pregnant, or not pregnant, are now eligible for Medicaid with this new Affordable Care Act (ACA) law, depending on their income.

There is no reason if you are low income to not have health insurance coverage in Nevada. Because even being in a low-income bracket doesn't guarantee that you won't face a serious injury or illness, and you might find yourself with a boatload of medical bills, whether you can afford them or not.
