The comb is designed to scratch in areas where fingertips can't reach and eliminates the mess associated with applying scalp grease from a jar.

The inventor stated that they created the product to solve an everyday issue of not being able to reach itchy spots when wearing a weave. The comb is lightweight and compact size making it easy to carry and could reduce the number of trips to a professional beauty salon, saving money and time.
