New community aims to reunify the tech and business worlds as industry fragmentation and burnout reach historic highs
LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- IoT Marketing will officially launch Tech Scope Connect, a new virtual community for emerging technology professionals and business leaders, during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. The launch will be celebrated with an exclusive, industry-focused event produced by IoT Marketing and hosted in collaboration with the Edge AI Foundation. Set to take place on January 8th at Audio Bar between 6pm‒10pm, the event will bring together industry executives and tech innovators across AI, IoT, edge computing, cybersecurity, robotics, and more.
"Breakthroughs are happening constantly. AI is scaling into every industry, IoT is expanding its reach, edge computing is rapidly evolving, and cybersecurity is becoming more critical every day. People in tech and business executives alike need a centralized place to connect," said Johannes Beekman, CEO of IoT Marketing. "Tech Scope Connect creates that space, helping professionals and executives across sectors learn together, collaborate more easily, and grow with a community that understands the real challenges of emerging tech."

Despite constant innovation, the tech sector lacks consistent spaces for cross-industry connection. This gap is reflected in workforce trends: a Blind poll found nearly 69% of tech workers report feeling disengaged, while only 27% of executives say their technology fully aligns with business goals, per a Grant Thornton survey. Research from MIT shows that teams with higher cross-disciplinary interaction generate more successful innovations, highlighting the value of accessible, community-driven networks.
Tech Scope Connect aims to address this challenge by providing a dedicated space for business leaders and technologists to share insights, gain visibility, and collaborate across sectors that rarely intersect.
The Edge AI Foundation is a global nonprofit dedicated to advancing efficient, affordable, and scalable edge AI technologies by fostering an active, collaborative community focused on innovation, education, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing. Its support in Tech Scope Connect's CES launch event reflects a mutual interest in accelerating collaboration around emerging technologies.
