LAS VEGAS, Sept. 23, 2024 ~ Las Vegas, NV - The 2024 Poker Masters presented by the PokerStars NAPT has come to a thrilling conclusion with Jim Collopy emerging as the champion. The eight-event series, held at the prestigious PokerGO® Studio, saw Collopy's impressive performance earn him a total of $521,600 in prize money and the highly coveted Poker Masters Purple Jacket.

Collopy's victory was no easy feat as he cashed in four consecutive events, finishing second twice, third, and sixth at four final tables. This consistency allowed him to accumulate 522 points and secure the top spot on the leaderboard.

In Event #3, a $10,100 NL Hold'em tournament, Collopy finished in 6th place for $47,000. He followed it up with a 3rd place finish in Event #4 for $105,300 and a 2nd place finish in Event #5 for $142,500. In the final event of the series, a $15,100 NL Hold'em tournament, Collopy once again finished in 2nd place for an impressive $226,800.

With this remarkable performance at the 2024 Poker Masters, Collopy has also earned himself a $25,000 PokerGO Tour® (PGT®) Passport and a PokerStars Gold Pass. This win has also propelled him into seventh place on the PGT leaderboard for the season with nearly $2 million in earnings from 15 cashes.

The current PGT points leader is Jeremy Ausmus with 2,369 points. The top 40 point earners from the PGT regular season will qualify for the season-ending PGT Championship which boasts a massive $1 million prize pool.
