LDJ Capital shows support for the on-stage performance honoring the violin virtuoso Niccolo Paganini
NEW YORK - nvtip -- LDJ Capital is pleased to announce its sponsorship for the upcoming "Paganini Honors Paganini" concert on October 30, 2019 at the Weill Recital Hall inside the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City.
The performance is a tribute to Niccolo Paganini, the violin virtuoso known as "the violinist of the devil" due to his outstanding musical skills. The concert will be presented by Maria Elena Paganini. Maria Elena is a descendant of the late Niccolo Paganini.
"This marks the first time that a descendant will be doing a tribute for him. The artists are unique and amazing. Everything has to be a success," said Maria Elena Paganini, the host of the tribute concert. "Niccolo Paganini's compositions of diverse works, violin concertos, sonatas for violin or guitar and violin and the 24 caprices in which the virtuosity is taken to the maximum will be performed by five violinists accompanied by the piano. The difficulty of the compositions will be a great challenge to these artists, although being professionals, must carry the emotion and the internal fire that Paganini transmitted."

LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake expresses his excitement for the much-anticipated concert. "I am happy to support my friend Maria Elena Paganini and the tribute concert for Niccolo Paganini. With all of Paganini's compositions, there is no doubt that the selection of pieces for the performance will attract the attention of everyone and I am looking forward to this," added David Drake.
The performance will feature five violinists and a pianist. The musical instruments on stage will include one Stradivarius and four Guarnieri Del Gesú violins - a favorite brand of Niccolo Paganini's - courtesy of Florian Leonard, one of the sponsors of the concert and known to be a leading expert in fine violins.
Edmond Fokker van Crayestein, Elly Suh, Jochem Geene, Kevin Zhu, Sabrina Vivian Höpcker, and Stefan Milenkovich are the soloists performing onstage. Jochem Geene is a pianist while Crayestein, Suh, Zhu, Höpcker, and Milenkovich are violinists. Edmond Fokker van Crayestein, a good friend of Maria Elena Paganini, is the concert's musical director and will be responsible for the program and the artists.
The tickets for the concert is available now through the Carnegie Hall's event website. For more information about the concert, visit: https://paganini-honors-paganini.com
