BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. - nvtip -- Comedian Marc Yaffee comes to Battle Mountain on Thursday, May 7 at 8pm, for a show at the Calico Club. Yaffee, a co-star of the special Goin' Native, received "Best of the Fest" honors at the 2022 Burbank Comedy Festival and was named by IllumiNatives as one of the 25 Indigenous comedians to watch.
"I'm excited to come to Battle Mountain," says Yaffee. "Northern Nevada audiences are always fun and ready to laugh."
Yaffee has toured nationally and performed overseas, including six Armed Forces Entertainment tours for U.S. military personnel. He may be the only comedian with "air, land, and sea" credits—having entertained Alaska Airlines passengers at 30,000 feet and performed for thousands on Carnival, Princess, and Holland America cruise lines. He has performed in 43 states and 11 countries. Yaffee has two Dry Bar Comedy specials and has also appeared on Amazon Prime, PBS, and Comics Unleashed.

Tom Horgen of the Minneapolis Star Tribune wrote that Yaffee "tore the house down" when describing his show. Also on the show is comedian Adam Stone. Adam is a regular at the Laugh Factory and has been heard on The Bob & Tom Show.
