Beyond her legal work, Jones is actively involved in the Reno-Tahoe area and values community involvement both inside and outside the legal field. She also has a strong interest in the legal aspects of the wine industry, drawing from her background growing up in the Napa Valley. Her familiarity with this industry has led her to explore the legal and regulatory issues affecting wineries, vineyards, and related businesses. Jones earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, and her B.A., also magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego.
