LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that John S. Delikanakis has been elected to The Friends of Clermont Board of Trustees. The Friends of Clermont is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Clermont State Historic Site located in Germantown, NY.
Clermont, the oldest surviving estate in New York's Hudson Valley, was home to seven generations of the Livingston family, including Chancellor Robert R. Livingston, a key figure in drafting the Declaration of Independence. Today, the site welcomes more than 90,000 visitors annually and offers tours of the historic mansion from April through December. Friends of Clermont plays a vital role in preserving this national treasure by providing accessible arts, education, and community programs, including lectures, concerts, performances, and workshops.
Delikanakis is a seasoned litigator with the firm's Litigation, Investigations, and Trials Practice Group, and is based in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. As former associate general counsel for an international Fortune 500 company, he has a deep understanding of what in-house counsel and commercial clients need and expect of their outside litigators: practical business forward advice and efficient, aggressive, and effective litigation strategies. His practice ranges from litigating simple and complex cases in various courts and arbitration tribunals across the nation to counseling the C-suite on how to best avoid litigation. His recent caseload is concentrated on professional liability matters, real estate disputes, business dissolutions, trade secret theft, contracts for the sale of goods, and commercial guaranty matters.
