As the world's leading provider of virtual training solutions, DiSTI will provide Diagnostic Troubleshooting Trainers (DTT) for the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) along with classroom hardware as part of the Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) initiative.

The total solution will extend the existing AMPV DTT prototype lessons to include 80 maintenance and troubleshooting lessons and procedures. DiSTI's solution will allow students to train in an advanced 3D learning environment to garner the skill necessary for AMPV maintenance.

Installation of classrooms featuring the AMPV DTT trainers will occur in Fort Lee, Virginia, Camp Shelby, Mississippi and Fort Benning, Georgia.

The Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) provides significant capabilities concerning force protection, survivability, mobility, and power generation to incorporate the Army's inbound network and other future technologies. The Family of Maintenance Trainers (FMT) is a program developed by the U.S. Army to establish a Common Core (CC) software baseline to replace its current stove-piped software architecture with a solution adaptable to address new and emerging technologies for future training needs.
