ENGLEWOOD, Colo., July 23, 2025 ~ Women in HVACR (WHVACR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration trades, has announced that they are now accepting nominations for their prestigious Pillar and Women to Watch awards. These awards will be presented at the organization's annual conference in October and featured in the inaugural edition of their new magazine.

The Pillar Awards aim to recognize outstanding members of Women in HVACR who have inspired others, contributed to educational initiatives, and built meaningful networks within the industry. According to Kristin Gallup, President of Women in WHVACR and Director of Product Management for Carrier Enterprise, these awards are a way for the organization to honor women who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to support other women in a predominantly male industry.

Nominations for these awards are open now through August 31st and will be judged in September. To be eligible for nomination, individuals must be active members of Women in HVACR. Three winners will be chosen for the Pillar Awards, each representing one of three categories: Mentor Pillar, Education Pillar, and Network Pillar.

The winners of these awards will be announced at the WHVACR conference "Bet on Yourself" taking place from October 6th-8th in Las Vegas. This recognition will include winners in four categories: Industry Impact, Innovation & Creativity, Leadership & Resilience, and Diversity & Inclusion Efforts. These women will be honored for their significant contributions to the home services or HVACR industry, implementation of new practices or solutions that have led to growth and efficiency, proven ability to overcome challenges, and active promotion of diversity and inclusion.
