Allegiant Announces Ten New Routes with One-Way Fares as Low as $45*

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 12, 2024 ~ Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) has announced the addition of 10 new nonstop routes to its network, connecting 14 cities across the country. The company is celebrating this expansion by offering one-way fares as low as $45 on these new routes.

According to Drew Wells, Allegiant's chief revenue officer, this expansion is aimed at catering to passengers and communities that have been overlooked by other carriers. He stated, "Allegiant's unique business model, connecting small-to-medium sized cities to vacation destinations, creates accessible travel options not otherwise available in what we believe are underserved markets. We know travelers enjoy the convenience of nonstop flights departing from their neighborhood airport."

The new routes will begin operating in June and will provide the only nonstop service between these cities. Among the new routes are flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in California from Laredo, Texas via Laredo International Airport (LRD), Rockford, Illinois via Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD), and Rapid City, South Dakota via Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP). These flights will start on June 12, 2024 with one-way fares as low as $69.

In addition, Allegiant will also be launching a new route to Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) in Florida from Plattsburgh, New York via Plattsburgh International Airport (PBG) on June 12 with one-way fares starting at $79.

Travelers looking for a sunny getaway can also take advantage of the new routes to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) in Florida from Evansville, Indiana via Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) and McAllen, Texas via McAllen International Airport (MFE). These flights will begin on June 13 and June 14 respectively with one-way fares as low as $49 and $59.

For those planning a trip to Tennessee, Allegiant will be launching new routes to McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) from St. Louis, Missouri via MidAmerica St. Louis Airport (BLV), Jacksonville, Florida via Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), and South Bend, Indiana via South Bend International Airport (SBN). These flights will start on June 13 and June 14 with one-way fares as low as $45.

In addition, Allegiant will also be adding a new route to Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) in Florida from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania via Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) on June 14 with one-way fares starting at $49. Travelers can also fly to Knoxville, Tennessee from McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) starting on June 14 with one-way fares as low as $45.
