LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GoMeyra, a cloud-based SaaS company dedicated to providing innovative, real-time software for the health care industry, has expanded its innovative GoMeyra LIMS platform. The software is now capable of processing individual tests and panels for Monkeypox, urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted infections, with additional panels to follow.
Similar to the technology developed for diagnosing COVID-19, GoMeyra now helps laboratories automate and streamline testing for a broader range of medical conditions. Using digital scanning to process test samples rather than manually inputting data, GoMeyra LIMS monitors and records the journey of a sample from its receipt at a laboratory through the end of its life cycle. It covers four key stages: Sample Storage, Testing, Reporting and Archiving. By eliminating the need for manual input, GoMeyra LIMS removes the risk of human error and significantly improves turnaround time.
"Our LIMS has helped so many health care providers operate more efficiently during the pandemic, and they have been eagerly awaiting our expansion of the platform's functionality to process a wider variety of tests. As a testament to the loyalty our system is evoking, client demand became the catalyst in driving new development," said GoMeyra Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Jaswant S. Tony. "Including Monkeypox testing is just another way for us to help the health care community at a time when it is needed most."
"Our lab has been using GoMeyra for COVID-19 testing and it works really well, so it's convenient to be able to utilize the same LIMS for other types of medical testing. GoMeyra's expanded capabilities allow us to manage the test processing cycle with one portal, one platform, and one point of contact all in one place," said Dan Briggs, owner MDX Labs.
GoMeyra is currently working on introducing even more testing panels to its LIMS, with respiratory and toxicology coming next. "We will not stop until we are able to process panels for all of the most common lab tests in the industry. Since our beginning, we have been disrupting the current system to help labs simplify and streamline their operations. We will continue to expand our capabilities in an effort to spearhead change in IT for the health care industry," Tony said.
