The brand's story comes full circle for Dawna, who met her husband at a local Starbucks over two decades ago — a reminder of coffee's ability to spark meaningful connections. Known for its elevated coffee and matcha experiences, IYKYK! Coffee Lab has quickly gained attention for its viral A.M. Sessions — morning coffee events featuring live DJs that transform the café into an energetic social hub. These sessions blend sound, specialty beverages, and community, redefining what mornings can feel like. The concept was also the first specialty shop in the country to test an environment where human baristas worked side by side with a fully automated, AI taught robotic barista (EVA).

The shop offers an eclectic menu that balances traditional espresso drinks with both permanent and rotating signature creations. Standout signature drinks include:

• Bonfire Cap — a rich mocha topped with a toasted marshmallow garnish
• Honey Love — a cinnamon, honey, and vanilla latte finished with a honey bear graham garnish

Coffee Lab collaborates with a rotating roster of beloved Southern California food brands, including Koreatown's world-famous Calic Stuffed Bagels and Long Beach's Nonna Mercato. Additional local favorites such as Bagelmania, Monster Muffins, HB Corner Market, Epic Burritos, Muffin But Luv, Sweet O's, and the Donuttery have been featured. Designed as a cultural destination, the space also features vinyl listening stations, inviting guests to experience music as an intentional and immersive part of the café.

Coffee Lab concept also operates a semi-permanent location on the campus of Orange Coast College, along with a fast-growing catering and brand activation arm, bringing its signature coffee, matcha, and music-driven experiences to brands, campuses, and private events throughout Southern California.
