LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Las Vegas attorney Caylye Nordling has been appointed to the Board of Directors of SafeNest. Founded in 1977, SafeNest is Nevada's largest and most comprehensive nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence in Clark County and Southern Nevada.
Since its founding, SafeNest has grown to offer a full system of trauma-informed support and intervention services, including a 24/7 crisis hotline, emergency shelter (for survivors, their children, and pets), counseling, advocacy, court support, case management, and prevention and outreach programs. In 2024, the organization provided more than 40,000 shelter and housing services to those in need and assisted with more than 4,200 court-supported cases.
Nordling is an associate in the firm's Corporate and Securities Practice Group. Her practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, representing companies and fund sponsors in the purchase and sale of businesses. Nordling is known for her attention to detail and client-focused approach. She takes a deep-dive into her clients' businesses and guides them through transactions with a collaborative, hands-on approach. Her practice has continued to expand, and she increasingly handles matters independently, reflecting the trust placed in her by clients and colleagues. In addition to her practice, Nordling serves on the Attorney Development Committee and acts as a mentor to junior associates.
