STRASBOURG, France - nvtip -- In an industry where clarity and adaptability are paramount, Raytron is poised to redefine thermal imaging technology with its latest innovation, the Mini2 LWIR Micro Thermal Camera Module, debuting at SPIE Photonics Europe 2024. Scheduled for exhibition on April 9-10 in Strasbourg, France, at booth number 223, the Mini2 promises an unmatched visual experience with its crystal-clear, seamless imagery and a diverse array of development options, catering to a broad spectrum of applications, from unmanned aerial vehicles and smart security to firefighting, automotive assistance, outdoor exploration, consumer electronics, and artificial intelligence.
The hallmark of the Mini2 is its ability to deliver crisp, clean, and shutterless images, a feat achieved through the integration of the InfiRay ASIC and the cutting-edge NMX3.0 non-uniformity correction algorithm alongside the IMX3.0 image processing algorithm. This powerful combination ensures that the Mini2 provides superior image quality, even in the most demanding environments.

Beyond its exceptional imaging capabilities, the Mini2 distinguishes itself with its unparalleled development flexibility. Offering a variety of development approaches, including SDKs and command sets, the Mini2 allows developers to tailor their projects according to specific needs and platforms, including Windows, Android, and Linux.
Key specifications of the Mini2 include ultra-high frame rates of up to 60hz, superior signal-to-noise ratio with NETD ≤40mK, and a diminutive footprint at just 21*21mm. Despite its small size, it does not shy away from power, with consumption rates as low as 0.7w for the 640×512 model. Additionally, the module supports rough temperature measurements, external synchronization, and black-and-white polarity simulation outputs, among other features.
Key features of the Mini2 also include support for multiple image modes and lens options, along with comprehensive hardware and software compatibility across the 256/384/640 series, providing users with unprecedented flexibility and convenience. This, coupled with the option for customers to use proprietary lenses and the provision of basic UI customization services for major clients, positions the Mini2 as a game-changer in thermal imaging technology.
