LAS VEGAS, Aug. 21, 2025 ~ Las Vegas, NV - The streets of Downtown Las Vegas will be transformed into a Bavarian-inspired bier hall from September 19-21, 2025 for the inaugural Oktoberfest Downtown Las Vegas (Oktoberfest DTLV). The event, which is free to enter, will feature a variety of activities and entertainment for all to enjoy.
The two-block pedestrian takeover on East Fremont Street, stretching from Las Vegas Blvd to 7th Street, will mark the first time the entire corridor has been closed for a festival. Guests can expect traditional Bavarian food and drinks, as well as contests and DJs after dark.
To purchase or consume alcohol at the event, guests will need to purchase a $10 wristband. These wristbands can be pre-ordered starting on August 21 at 10:00 AM PT on OktoberfestDTLV.com. Those who pre-order a bundle that includes festival Biermarks (the event's currency) will receive a free wristband. On-site wristbands will also be available for purchase.

According to Dan Hill, co-founder and CEO of Oktoberfest DTLV, this event is a fusion of Bavarian tradition and Fremont Street flair. "Bavarian bones meet Vegas voltage in this street-level eruption," said Hill. "We're bringing together games, brats, steins by day and DJs and dancing by night for a new Las Vegas legend in the making."
The festival will run on Biermarks, which are designed to keep lines moving and drinks flowing smoothly. One Biermark is equivalent to a 16 oz pint or two Biermarks can be exchanged for a 34 oz stein refill. Participating venues along Fremont Street such as El Cortez, Commonwealth, Cheapshot, Park on Fremont, Eureka, and Lucky Day will offer exclusive Biermark menus featuring German-inspired cocktails with a downtown twist.
For those looking for a VIP experience, there will be wristband bundles available that include access to exclusive events inside Cheapshot and Commonwealth. Commemorative stein bundles will also be available for purchase.
The festival will take place from Friday to Sunday, September 19-21, 2025 on Fremont Street between Las Vegas Blvd and 7th Street. Entry is free, but a wristband is required to purchase or consume alcohol. Wristband bundles will go on sale at 10:00 AM PT on August 21 at OktoberfestDTLV.com.
