LAS VEGAS, June 5, 2025 ~ As the 8th edition of National Prosecco Week enters its final days, the Consorzio Tutela Prosecco DOC is pleased to announce the results of the first LIVE National Prosecco Week Cocktail Competition. The event, held in collaboration with the United States Bartenders' Guild (USBG), took place in Las Vegas and showcased the creativity and skill of bartenders across the country.

Bartenders from all over the US were invited to participate in this exciting competition by crafting their most innovative cocktail using America's favorite sparkling wine, Prosecco DOC. After careful consideration, a panel of USBG judges selected the top 5 cocktails from a pool of creative entries.

The top 5 cocktails were as follows: "Lustro" by Kilo Filipushko of Brooklyn, NY; "Sparkling Sonata in DOC" by Aakash Gala of Washington, DC; "When the Spritz Hits the Fan" by Alex Taylor of Millville, DE; "Sogno le Prugne" by Nicola Tolosa of Chicago, IL; and "A Gift From Gaia" by Lauren Pellecchia of Loveland, OH.

These top 5 bartenders were then flown to Las Vegas where they presented their signature Prosecco DOC cocktails at local cocktail bar Jammyland. The event was attended by media and trade professionals who eagerly sampled each cocktail and cast their votes.

A panel of local judges evaluated each submission based on flavor, craftsmanship, and originality. After much deliberation, "A Gift From Gaia" by Lauren Pellecchia was declared the Overall Winner of the 2025 National Prosecco Week Cocktail Competition. Additionally, "Lustro" by Kilo Filipushko was chosen as the People's Choice Winner based on a combination of votes from guests at the event and votes from a Social Media Blitz where bartenders encouraged their followers to vote for them on the National Prosecco Week website.
