RENO, Nev. - nvtip -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Reno-Tahoe attorney Michael Cabrera has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Reno Chamber Orchestra (RCO). Founded in 1974, the RCO is a nonprofit chamber orchestra celebrated for its regular season concerts, renowned chamber music festival, and strong community engagement initiatives.
A longtime supporter of the orchestra, Cabrera brings both personal passion and professional commitment to his new role. As a music minor from the University of Nevada, Reno, he has been an advocate of the RCO since his undergraduate days.
Cabrera is an associate in the firm's real estate practice group. He represents and advises real estate developers, investors, non-profit organizations, and individuals at all stages of property acquisition, land planning, zoning, and redevelopment processes. Cabrera has represented clients with real property disputes in state and federal court, including defending land use decisions of local governing bodies, quiet title actions, partition actions, and boundary line adjustments.

In joining the Board of Directors, Cabrera aims to contribute fresh energy and perspective as the orchestra continues its mission of bringing classical music and community together across Northern Nevada. His legal experience and deep appreciation for the arts position him to make meaningful contributions to the RCO's governance and growth.
Cabrera earned his J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and his B.A. in political science and international affairs from the University of Nevada, Reno.
