HENDERSON, Nev. - nvtip -- Shawn Davis, Former Shark Tank Star, Sues Wells Fargo for Alleged Racist and Discriminatory Conduct
Las Vegas, NV – August 22, 2025 – Shawn Davis, better known as Chef Big Shake and famously regarded as one of Shark Tank's "biggest misses," has filed a lawsuit in the Nevada Clark County District Court on August 20, 2025, against Wells Fargo Bank and employee David Parra, accusing the banking giant of racist and discriminatory practices that inflicted reputational harm, loss of dignity, and public humiliation.
According to the lawsuit, Wells Fargo's actions represent a broader pattern of systemic discrimination within major financial institutions.
"This is not about the money," said Davis's attorney, Milan Chatterjee. "Shawn doesn't need the money, but his experience is a powerful example of the prejudice African Americans continue to face in corporate America. Wells Fargo must be held accountable—not only for what happened to Shawn, but for the culture that allows these injustices to occur."
