SafeBreak Vascular Vet is a first of its kind breakaway device designed to remove harmful forces from peripheral IV lines by intentionally separating when damaging levels of force are applied to the IV line. A randomized controlled trial with 367 dogs was published in the Journal of American Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA) and completed at Colorado State University in 2022. The results of this study concluded that SafeBreak significantly reduced IV complications by 65%.1
