After watching their dog Mooch suffer from Pancreatitis and Gastritis, founders Kellie and Casey Jones set out on a journey to see how what we feed our pets ultimately affects their wellbeing. What they found, was frightening. "The pet food industry is highly unregulated," said Kellie. "If people knew what they were putting in their pet's dish, they'd think twice before buying conventional pet food and treats."

The couple started Mooch's Munchies, a Las Vegas based dog treat bakery, in 2016, soon expanding it to ship orders around the country, and then to offer healthy food options for both dogs and cats. "Pets are our best friends and our family members, says Kellie. "Why wouldn't you want to give them healthy, high-quality treats?"

The bakery serves up delicious dog treats made with human-grade ingredients in a variety of flavors including Peanut Butter, Banana, Cheesy Cluckers, Pupkin Bones, Honey Bunnies, Gingerbread, and Peas and Thank You (breath-freshening treats).  They even offer Private Reserve, specially designed treats in your pup's favorite flavor, with their name on the cookies and the bag.

While the smell on baking day is positively addictive, and the quality of their treats can't be beaten, the biggest benefit is the knowledge. With all their research, Kellie is a fount of information regarding pet food and health, and she's happy to educate pet parents about what to look for (and avoid) in their pet food and treats.

"With mass-produced biscuits and treats, quality is secondary to marketing," says Kellie. "We want pet parents to feel confident knowing that they could (and sometimes do) snack on our dog treats right alongside their best friend."
