LAS VEGAS - nvtip -- SmartAVI is proud to introduce our new line of USB 2.0 peripheral extenders for security, digital signage, and recording environments. The USB2CX and USB2FX both incorporate a four-port USB hub at the receiver end that supports a wide variety of devices. The USB2CX has an extension range of up to 330ft (100m) using a single standard CAT5 cable. For greater extension range and flexibility, the USB2FX incorporates an SFP module port. This creates the potential for a single-mode extension range up to 6.2 miles (10km) or a multimode range up to 1,524ft (500m) with a single fiber cable.
