DEVENTER, Netherlands - nvtip -- Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is tempting tourists with a new promotion. The downturns in the tourism industry have forced hotel chains to offer special promotions to regain guests' sympathy and trust. Will this advertising plan work? What other steps did Wyndham take to attract visitors despite coronavirus?
The newest Wyndham promotion – "Stay Two Nights, Get One Free" – announced on July 23, covers stays booked between July 16 and September 8, 2020. Free stays have to be completed by September 10, 2020.
The rules are simple – Wyndham Rewards members receive a bonus reward of 7,500 points at the end of their stay. This is enough to warrant an extra night after two nights. It is important to mention that the promotion is very accessible, as Wyndham Rewards program is free to join. Travelers ought to remember that their stays need to be booked directly with Wyndham Rewards.

Increased advertising efforts by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts
As was relayed by Lastminutes.deals, the "Stay Two Night, Get One Free" promotion is part of the increased efforts of Wyndham hotel chain to persuade travelers to choose them as their accommodation:
"With everyday travelers out there traveling, and vacationers gearing up for road trips this summer and fall, Wyndham is reminding every kind of traveler that our hotels are open, ready to welcome them, and within reach."
"This promotion, along with our latest ad campaign, offers travelers a chance to consider where their next stay will take them – whether it is a quick car trip to reconnect with their family or a longer vacation to get away from it all – and makes it that much more rewarding with enough Wyndham Rewards bonus points for a free night stay towards future trips."

Wyndham's commitment to fighting coronavirus
As a hotel chain with over 6,000 hotels across the U.S. alone, Wyndham made it their priority to minimize the risk of coronavirus transmission in their properties. Their Count on Us initiative puts the safety of their guests first, enforcing strict cleanliness standards and focusing on EPA-approved disinfectants. Furthermore, they issued a set of guidelines for their managed and owned properties worldwide on how to identify COVID-19 symptoms and mitigate the transmission.
Is this enough to regain the trust and sympathy of tourists all over the world? It remains to be seen in the coming months.
