Women in HVACR announces annual convention in Las Vegas

ENGLEWOOD, Colo., May 30, 2025 ~ Las Vegas, NV - Women in HVACR (WHVACR), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration trades, has announced the location and dates for their 2025 annual conference. The event will take place at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa in Las Vegas from October 6-8. Registration for the conference is now open.

Titled "Bet on Yourself," the conference will feature keynote addresses from motivational speakers and business coaches Erin Hatzikostas and Angela Gaffney. Gaffney is an executive coach, international speaker, and best-selling author who helps leaders get "unstuck" and lead with confidence. Hatzikostas is the founder and CEO of b Authentic inc, and an internationally recognized leader on the impact of authenticity in the workplace.

According to Women in WHVACR President Kristin Gallup, who also serves as director of product management for Carrier Enterprise in Orlando, the goal of the organization is to provide women with the tools they need to be successful in the skilled trades industry. The annual conference serves as a professional and fun venue for women to network with and learn from others in the HVACR fields.

Gallup stated, "If you're ready to grow in your field, connect with other women in the industry, and celebrate our successes, this convention is for you."

In addition to two full days of educational programming, attendees can also participate in various networking events such as the Connection Crawl on Monday afternoon, Vintage Vegas Vendor Expo on Tuesday evening, Feathers and Fringe after party on Tuesday night, and "Hats Off to You – A Celebration of Women Who Lead" on Wednesday afternoon. The conference will also offer morning fitness activities on October 7-8 at 6 a.m.

Registration for members is $999 while non-members can register for $1,299. Rooms are available at the Red Rock Hotel.

The Women of HVACR conference has been providing women in the industry with education and networking opportunities for 22 years. The group was first conceived at the AHR Expo in Chicago in 2002 and held its first conference as a roundtable discussion at the Comfortech Conference in Dallas in 2003. In 2004, the nonprofit became an official organization and started hosting its own standalone annual conferences.

Gallup emphasized that Women in HVACR is dedicated to encouraging and supporting career growth for women in all areas of HVACR, including as technicians, sales representatives, customer service professionals, managers, and owners. She also highlighted the importance of teamwork and leadership within the organization.

"Our annual conference is a celebration of that leadership," Gallup said.
