LAS VEGAS, May 26, 2023 ~ Allegiant and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) have ratified a new two-year contract extension for the company's flight dispatchers. The agreement was approved by 95.8% of the dispatchers, who currently number 50.
Greg Anderson, President of Allegiant, expressed his satisfaction with the outcome: "We are pleased to see our dispatchers overwhelmingly voted to ratify the tentative agreement we presented a few weeks ago. This extension comes more than a year before the current contract's amendable date, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the negotiating teams for both Allegiant and IBT. Our team of dispatchers play a critical role in our operations, and we appreciate their overwhelming approval and commitment to this process."

The current collective bargaining agreement became effective on April 25, 2019 and was scheduled to become amendable on May 31, 2024. However, early off-the-record discussions between both parties resulted in a tentative agreement that replaced the original rate increases scheduled for May 31 this year with two additional years addressing rate changes only.
Las Vegas-based Allegiant is an integrated travel company with an airline at its heart that focuses on connecting customers with people, places and experiences that matter most. Since 1999, Allegiant Air has provided travelers in small-to-medium cities with all-nonstop flights at industry-low average fares.
